A dedicated young leader advocating for community safety and the overall well-being and life quality of under-served communities. Jha'Niyah currently serves on the Mayor's Mental Health roundtable with the City of Knoxville and is an Alumni of the Cities United Young Leader Fellowship that focuses on building collaboration nationwide to reduce homicides and shootings among Black men and boys. She is also a former board member of Alliance for Integrated Awareness, where she was able to gain insight and advocate for advancing equity in mental healthcare.
Ms. Holland has been able to take lead on facilitating focus groups in many spaces that have allowed diverse perspectives from community members and stakeholders, identifying effective intervention strategies and developing comprehensive approaches to address the needs and barrier of our under-served communities.
