My Name is Andrea Young, and I am a Researcher and Executive Assistant at Three3. I am from Montgomery, Alabama, where it is best known for its southern hospitality. I have 6 wonderful children: 2 play college football, 1 plays XLF, and my other 3 are my theatrical babies. At first, I started off wanting to do a business major in college. A year in, I ended up changing majors after being told that business majors were only for people that wanted to have their own business. Yes, eventually I wanted to have my own business, but I wanted my degree to be something that could help people. I also wanted something that would be a challenge for me, so I chose Paralegal Studies. Soon after, life hit again, so I had to take a break, but when I get the chance, I will get back to it! I have been doing hair since I was 9 so I got my Natural Hair Braider license. Then, I got married, had my younger 2 children, and started working in the home healthcare field. Working in the home healthcare field really takes a toll on you emotionally, especially if you have an unconditional love for people in general no matter their personality, size, shape, or color. I am also a notary for the State of TN. I was inspired as a little girl when I saw my mom’s notary friend interact with her clients. People call me a walking office because I always have my office in a bag, and I will pull it out in church if I feel like God needs me to. I love to sing, write music and poems, love to do anything educational, and am an introvert extrovert. I love entertainment and documentaries, reading, and acting. I took 2 years of acting while I was in school, and I have also done a few plays as well. Whatever I do, I try my best to do with excellence; and I bring this attitude with me to my research and work at Three3!
